Overview
Data steward is responsible for ensuring data assets are used effectively. Data Steward role creates and managing core metadata such as a business glossary, framing the rules, managing data quality, and effective governance
GOALS:
- Contribute to enterprise business glossary
- Implement changes to business process or other data management practice decided on by DGC
- Ensure proper usage of Data sources and knowledge of created policies & controls for continually improve the data and its usefulness.
- Make sure the error records are remediated accurately without rework. Assure validity and consistency of data.
CHALLENGES :
- Establishing data-quality metrics and requirements, including defining the values, ranges, and parameters that are acceptable for each data element/Data Asset.
- Ensuring Data accuracy.
- Ensuring Data availability.
- Creating a competitive data advantages in the market.
- Understanding the frequently changing regulatory policies.

RESOLUTION :
- Define the data and identify assets within their own data domains through Data Asset Module.

- Ensure compliance and security of the data by protecting the data while providing information on potential risks and offering regulatory guidance
